Overview
So, there’s this spot called Pizza Box over on Morton Crescent in Houghton-le-Spring. Just your average takeaway with a twist, if you will. I swung by the Fence Houses branch recently, mainly ‘cause my son moved closer.
First impressions? They’ve got some solid pizza. Not gonna lie, I still think the Shiney Row branch has a little more magic in their dough, but hey, tastes vary, right?
You’ll often hear peeps raving about the mixed kebab wraps and the burgers, so that’s something to chew on. Though, I can’t ignore the mixed bag of reviews – a few folks have had not-so-great experiences.
I noticed some complaints about cold food, though. Like, really? Who wants a lukewarm pizza?
Regardless, they open pretty late, which is handy. Think about that late-night pizza craving!
All in all, with the right expectations, you might just find your new go-to place. Just maybe check the reviews first, you know?
