If you’re wandering around London’s High Street, you absolutely have to drop by L’hirondelle Kitchen. Tucked away at 228 High St, this little café has become one of my fav local spots. Talk about charm – the decor is quirky, with a warm, welcoming vibe that just makes you wanna settle in.
Food? Pretty much divine. I’ve had the frittata more than I’d like to admit, and WOW, so delicious! Honestly, their chicken meatball tagine just might be my new obsession. The coffee? Absolutely top-notch for the price – it’s a steal at £2.50. Perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
What really strikes me is the staff. They’re like that friend who always knows how to make you smile. Super friendly and attentive, even when they’re rushing around. Takeaway options are solid, too, which is perfect when you’re on the go!
And let’s be real, the outdoor seating is a gem for those sunny days. The only thing that needs a little love is the single restroom – it’s definitely seen better days.
