Feedback on Benjamin’s. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Luton (Bedfordshire)

Overview
So, I recently popped into Benjamin’s Café in Luton, and wow, what a mixed bag! Right on Upper George Street, it has a cozy vibe that’s perfect for a catch-up with friends or family. The moment I stepped in, it felt like a pretty classy place, but it’s also got that chill café atmosphere.
The staff? Super friendly! They welcomed me with smiles, even though the café was buzzing. I mean, it’s a popular spot—167 reviews and a solid 4.4 rating! I decided to try their Big Ben breakfast, which sounded mouthwatering, but let me tell ya, my excitement kinda fizzled out after that.
The food? Well, it was alright, but portions felt a bit stingy for the price. I expected a knock-your-socks-off experience, but mostly it was just “meh.” My coffee was more like a weak attempt at espresso, too. It’s like they spent too much time on the decor and forgot about the actual food!
And yeah, it took ages to get my stuff. I watched others dig into their meals while my plate seemed to be out on a leisurely stroll. Ever been there? You know the feeling, right? But hey, they do have a cute kids' menu and some awesome drinks, like that fruity Red Bull mojito that I saw someone else order. People were raving about it!
After brunch, I thought about dessert, but honestly, I couldn’t bring myself to risk it. The reviews I’d read were hit-or-miss. I guess I’ll have to come back to give it another shot, especially since they serve until 10:30 PM on weekends. But, for now, it’s a hit-and-miss for me. If I were you, I’d give it a whirl, but maybe lower your expectations just a tad!
